I just wanted to say that the webinar was fantastic – really interesting, very clearly presented and so helpful for me as an autistic adult. Thank you so much.

We had some very positive feedback along with commitments to try some of the techniques and strategies discussed. I was particularly pleased that so many people chose to share their experiences with the group in a very open manner and I’m sure that reflects on the way you ran the session and the trust that was able to develop within the group.
Event organiser
Two carers have come back and said it made such a difference being honest and upfront about our needs.
In fact in one case it was the carer who was struggling and felt the information I relayed from your session empowered her to let this be known and leave without feeling uncomfortable.
Meet Founder & Director, Lucy Smith
Helping change leaders achieve greater success in organisations and communities with neurodiversity awareness training
Here is the background:
I am part of a neurodivergent family. I grew up in a neurodivergent family and I am now a parent of incredible neurodivergent teenagers who are about to step into the world of employment.
I have been a trainer for many years and working as an associate trainer in the autism community for 5 years with www.thegirlwiththecurlyhair.co.uk.
I have set up an inclusive business and employ many ND staff in our community shop in Bristol, Your Village Shop.
I have created a unique curriculum as part of an ND work experience programme as the founder of Inclusive Change At Work CIC.
But here is the real difference I bring:
I have had a career in change management that means I can see how to embed ND inclusion in an organisation - regardless of where you are starting from.
My career spans 30 years and I have worked in internationally recognised organisations such as HMRC, National Crime Agency and University of Bristol with leadership roles. I am now an associate consultant working freelance for organisations across the UK.
I don't just know the theory or have passed the exams (I have done that) but I have been part of delivering significant change programmes in small and large organisations
I am a social entrepreneur employer and business owner who recognises business need and that starting conversations about neurodiversity can be a difficult in the workplace.
So behind the Inclusive Change Champions Network there is a whole load of experience that means I can help you if you want to create more inclusive change programmes and embed neurodiversity into your business. (but I can also do a whole lot more too - not least because I have a fantastic team of ND'ers working with me).
